Calgary’s Green Line (Phase 1 is already funded and underway) will bring big changes:
Ramsay/Inglewood – A heritage area about to get a big boost with its own station.
36 Ave. SE, Highfield, and Lynnwood/Millican stations will allow for new bus service in the southeast to provide connections into the LRT.
And looking ahead, the city is studying a Red Line extension south of Somerset-Bridlewood that could serve Legacy, Walden, and Silverado — good news for future resale in these growing communities.
Easy commutes = more buyer demand.
Walkable amenities like cafés, grocery stores, and schools boost daily convenience.
Future transit plans can add value, since buyers see what’s coming.
If you’re buying today, keep an eye on communities where transit is expanding. Not only will your own life be easier, but your home may appeal to even more buyers down the road.
